The Numbers!
Allegheny Trail:
Six puncheon bridges totaling over 100' in length. The longest is 30' and the shortest 12'. These were built with native timber cribbing and stringers; decked and curbed with treated dimensional lumber.
Fifty feet of timber sided turnpike filled with crushed native stone.
Twenty-five feet of boulder causeway.
Middle Ridge Trail:
One hundred feet of timber sided turnpike filled with crushed native stone.
Puncheon bridge totaling 62' in length built with native timber cribbing and stringers; decked and curbed with treated dimensional lumber.
